Grandes de la moda estadounidense como Michael Kors, Diane Von Furstenberg, Donna Karan y Ralph Lauren volverán a codearse en la pasarela de Bryant Park -o en varias salas o museos de la ciudad-, con un nutrido grupo de diseñadores hispanos que una vez más capitanea Carolina Herrera.
Junto a la reconocida diseñadora venezolana, estarán presentes otros nombres ya habituales, como el cubano Narciso Rodríguez y el español Custo Dalmau y su línea Custo Barcelona, aunque en esta ocasión se sumarán los también españoles David Delfín, Toni Francesc y Joaquín Trías.

Además, el 17 de septiembre Argentina presentará en un desfile único a cinco de sus representantes más punteros: Benito Fernández, Fabián Zitta, Min Agostini, y las firmas Cardón y Eufemia.
César Galindo de origen mexicano, y Brian Reyes de ascendencia colombiana, son otros de los responsables del acento español en la también conocida "Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week".
Fuera del circuito oficial se podrá disfrutar un año más de los diseños del dominicano Oscar de la Renta, al tiempo que de España también llegarán las creaciones de Ana Locking, Carmen March, Juan Duyos y Juanjo Oliva.
El Fashion Night Out, organizado por Vogue en distintas capitales del mundo, será sin duda el evento más esperado del NYFW. La famosa revista escogió el primer día de la semana de la moda, 10 de septiembre, para su gran fiesta en más de 700 tiendas ubicadas en la famosa ciudad, que de 6 a 11 de la noche estarán abiertas con increíbles descuentos, sorpresas y apariciones de celebridades y, lo mejor de todo, que a diferencia de los desfiles, ¡no se requiere invitación!
